Download Spiderman 2017: A Fun Yet Flawed Film

The latest installment in the Spider-Man franchise, Spider-Man Homecoming, has been met with widespread acclaim and excitement among fans of the web-slinging superhero. While I did have a reasonably fun time watching the film, I couldn't help but notice several issues that detracted from my overall enjoyment.

One of the most glaring problems is the inconsistent portrayal of Spiderman's strength and vulnerability. In one scene, Peter Parker is effortlessly holding together two halves of the Staten Island ferry, only to struggle to free himself from a pile of rubble later on in the film. This inconsistency is not only frustrating but also confusing, leaving viewers wondering what exactly makes Spiderman so powerful.

Another issue I had with the film was the Avengers' lax approach to securing their equipment. Happy, played by Jon Favreau, loads all of the Avenger's weapons and armour onto an unmanned aircraft, leaving it unguarded. This lack of attention to detail is not only silly but also raises questions about the team's overall competence.

Furthermore, Spiderman's ability to withstand physical damage was also inconsistent. In one scene, he falls from a crashing jet and gets up without a problem, while in another, he bangs his head on the roof of a truck and is left unconscious. This lack of consistency makes it difficult for viewers to take the film seriously.

Despite these issues, I did find Spiderman Homecoming to be an enjoyable watch. The film's plot was engaging, and the chemistry between the characters was well-developed. Overall, while Spiderman Homecoming had its flaws, it is still a fun and entertaining film that fans of the franchise will likely enjoy.
